"I was at home watching television. Did you watch the amazing thriller of a soccer game, Liverpool against Norwich? It was amazing!" Nate told Rex describing the exciting match. "Stop lying, I'm no longer mad." Rex said. "Mad over what?" Nate asked without a clue what had happened. Rex snapped and shouted, "You know what you did, you shot me and walked away! You know how much that hurts!?" "I have no..." Nate said before being cut off. "Don't do it again!" Rex yelled in a much irritated manner. Later that day, Rex was again walking home when he met with 'Nate' again, this time when he was shot, he realized instead of 'Nate's' gauntlet shooting a energy blast, a light was projected and a bullet was shot. "Get back here!" Rex shouted while chasing 'Nate' but he was not able to catch up. "Weird, I swear Nate's gauntlet shoots energy blasts and he is so much is slower than me! Perhaps that was not him." When Rex arrived at the office, he found Nate in the meeting room. "Nate, I..." Rex said before being Nate stopped him. "When walking home I saw you! Alike what you said about me yesterday, you shot me!" "I think we aren't the ones hurting each other, I saw a fake you yesterday, when 'you' shot me, I realized what came out of 'your' gauntlet wasn't a energy ball but a bullet!" Rex told Nate. "What are you guys talking about?" Ryan said in a curious tone. "We saw fake versions of each other, and I think I know who could have made them." Rex answered Ryan while starting up his computer. "Owen Hilton, Serene's ex, inventor and made a few inventions that rocked the world, including this clone machine." Rex said scrolling down Owen's online biography. "Why would he do this then?" Ryan asked. "Oh that's an easy question, ever since he and Serene broke up, he was living in a world of grievance and hatred and has been plotting revenge." Rex said. "How do you know about this, he couldn't have told you?" Ryan asked. "Well obviously he didn't, he called Serene and asked her to get back together with him in a tone that sounded like he had filled an entire ocean with his tears." Rex told Ryan. "What are we waiting for, let's go!" Nate exclaimed.
When they went to find Owen, they spotted a fake Nate. "Follow him!" Rex told the others, the fake Nate to Owen's location. When they entered the warehouse, they were greeted by the sight of droids. "Attack!" the trio heard the voice say. Upon hearing that, the droids started chasing the trio. Nate shot a energy ball at the droids causing them to shut down. "Darn it!" Owen exclaimed. "It's over Owen.'' Rex said. "Oh is it?" Owen exclaimed in a voice that sent shivers down the trio's spine. Immediately after that speech, cannons started shooting at the trio, they avoided the cannons and kicked Owen in the face. "Grr, die!" Owen yelled transforming his body into a robot. "Whoa!" the trio said in unison. The robot started shooting lasers, one almost vaporized Rex. The trio put up a tough struggle but was no match for the giant robot, they all got hit to the ground but when they were going to be destroyed by the fist of the giant robot, Serene entered the warehouse. She charged up a energy blast and it destroyed Owen's robot suit. "I was wanting to be reunited with you ever since you left me for that freak, but now I'm having second thoughts!" Owen shouted while shooting Serene with a automated machine gun but was no match for Serene's speed and agility and she eventually pinned Owen on the wall. "Leave us alone or else..." Serene threatened. Owen escaped Serene's and ran away. "How did you do that?" Nate asked Serene. "I was born able to create energy blast with my body." Serene answered. "Guess we're not the only freaks!" Nate said. The next day, Rex was reading the papers and on the front page wrote, 'Inventor committed suicide'...
